First JOB

There are 45 LAKH graduate students in India without a JOB.
Here is how it goes:

  • You spend days creating your perfect resume, you spend weeks learning the interview techniques, you then spend several days uploading resumes on 8 to 10 job portal sites like Naukri, Monster…. etc. and then you WAIT and WAIT hoping and praying that you get that first call the first email short-listing you for the first phone interview.
  • BUT, it does not happen and realistically it will probably never happen. It’s NOT because you are not qualified, it’s because the employers are finding it extremely challenging and expensive to find the right candidate
  • Employers find it expensive to go to colleges, short list candidates, have a one to one interview and in some cases if affordable do a profile evaluation.
  • Employers find it impossible to go through thousands of resumes downloaded from Job portals and short-list candidates for further processing.
  • Here is where the FIT (Focused Integrated Talent) approach comes in.
FIT (Focused Integrated Talent) approach involves measuring and storing 54 job success attributes and information relating to the attributes of job seekers. These attributes are gathered through a scientifically created evaluation and administered via Computer Based Testing (CBT) in a proctored environment across PAN India. Hence a database of eligible candidates is stored than can be accessed instantaneously

  • Such attributes include educational backgrounds, desires and interests of a job, Aptitudes, Multiple Intelligences, Personality Traits, Learning Styles, Skills etc….
  • Such attributes necessarily differ between career positions and are dependent on the type of position as well as the experience of the job seeker.
  • The set of attributes known or stored about a particular job seeker is typically more complete than particular attributes that a given potential employer is seeking.
  • Potential employers then express their interest in obtaining employees with a particular set of attributes, optionally including the importance of some attributes over others.
  • FIT considers the desired attributes as expressed by the potential employer and matches it with the known attributes of a library of potential employees within that career heading, and further ranks the importance expressed by the employer in determining the rankings of attributes to result in a list of potential employees that best match the interests.
  • Such list may be further considered by a recruiting professional (e.g., headhunter) before being passed on to the employer or may be passed directly to the employer

SWOT

SWOT, which stands for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, analysis for employees entails a self-evaluation of a person’s strengths and weaknesses. In addition, the employee must evaluate her opportunities and threats. The employee’s strengths and weaknesses are essentially internal factors. Opportunities and threats are considered external factors, for which the employee has less control. However, A SWOT analysis for an employee can help an employee better deal with certain external factors.
We use the patented FIT approach to SWOT analysis. FIT (Focused Integrated Talent) approach involves storing 54 job success attributes and information relating to the attributes of job seekers. These attributes are gathered through a scientifically created evaluation and administered via Computer Based Testing (CBT) in a proctored environment across PAN India. Hence a database of eligible candidates is stored than can be accessed instantaneously
An employees primary goal for conducting a SWOT analysis is to determine ways to secure her future with the company; and to improve her chances of getting promoted. This can be accomplished by using the SWOT analysis to match certain internal factors, such as strengths and weakness, with external factors like opportunities and threats. For example, a regional managers leadership skills, a strength, may help her get promoted to the corporate office, an opportunity. Contrarily, an employee that has no college degree, a weakness, may pursue her degree if her company starts requiring a degree for her job, a threat.
